Mayor of Hereford Councillor Kevin Wargen performed the official opening ceremony of the new School Uniform Shop in Hereford when he attended with his wife, Mayoress Lyn Wargen, to cut the ribbon on Thursday 16th October.
The Mayor complimented managing director, Luke Conod, on the impressive design of the new shop and wished him and his team every success. He said it was a great pleasure to see a locally owned and run family business doing so well and providing new employment opportunities.
The School Uniform Shop has quickly become one of the county’s biggest and busiest school uniform stockists. So much so that they were forced to look for bigger premises. They opened, two weeks ago, in Brewers Passage in the Maylord Shopping Centre.
The new shop has been carefully designed and fitted out in a contemporary and comfortable style that’s easy-to-shop for both kids and parents alike.
As an approved Trutex stockist you’ll find everything a pupil needs for school – blazers, trousers, skirts, shirts, blouses, sports kit, T-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, official badges, ties and more.
“We’ve only been open for a couple of weeks, but I’m absolutely delighted with the feedback that we’ve received.” said Luke Conod, Managing Director of the family owned and Hereford based, firm who also own Jeans Nation in Eign Gate where the School Uniform Shop was located until the recent move.
“It seems that The School Uniform Shop is just what our customers have been waiting for – making school uniform shopping a more pleasurable experience with loads more choice; everything under one roof and friendly knowledgeable staff.”
Selling reputable brand names like Trutex and The School Uniform Shop is able to offer a full money-back guarantee if anything doesn’t live up to expectations. They are also the only school uniform retailer in the UK to sell 100% Fairtrade and ethically sourced school uniform.
Although The School Uniform Shop specialises in providing the complete school uniform and sports kit package for the majority of schools in the county they also keep large stocks of standard blazers, trousers, shirts, socks and skirts for all schools in a huge range of sizes.
For schools outside the area the School Uniform Shop also offers a “School Uniform Direct” service, at www.schooluniformshop.co.uk, as well as five other outlets across the country including a department within Labels Outlet Shopping at Ross-on-Wye for schools in and around the Ross area.
“For great quality school uniform and school sports kit, it’s full marks for The School Uniform Shop, Brewers Passage, Maylord Shopping Centre, Hereford.”
